Here are the 17 films which, following the jury evaluation, were
selected to form the national Romanian selection of the very short film
festival Festival des Très
Courts 2010 (7-9 May). These films will be projected in the Romanian towns and
cities hosting the festival this year, together with the international
selection and the Paroles de Femmes selection. The films are posted in the
alphabetical order of the names of their directors and this order doesn’t
reflect in any way the score given by the jury.

The Romanian team of the Very Shorts festival received 116 films under 3 minutes ! We would like to thank all those who submitted their creations in our competition.
A jury made up of members of the French network in Romania, film professors from the Art and Design University in Cluj, the Sapientia University in Cluj and UNATC Bucharest, journalists and festival partners will make the final selection Wednesday 31st of March 2010.
Following the jury’s vote, the best rated films will form the national Romanian selection, which will be projected in the 30 Romanian cities of the festival. Moreover, the jury’s vote will decide the winner of the grand prize of the national selection, who will be kept secret until the end of the festival in May. Another prize, that of the public, will be given according to the votes of the spectators present in screening rooms all over the country.
The film makers whose films are selected, will be announced by e-mail Friday April 2nd 2010, and the results will also be posted online.
